= Etika sangat penting dalam bermasyarakat apalagi dalam sebuah profesi. Etika ini digunakan untuk menilai apakah sikap kita sudah sesuai dengan kode etik yang ada atau belum.

- Kredibilitas adalah kualitas, kapabilitas, atau kekuatan untuk menimbulkan kepercayaan.
contoh : Seorang karyawan dalam menjalankan tugasnya harus dapat dipercaya oleh atasannya
- Profesionalisme adalah sifat-sifat (kemampuan, kemahiran, cara pelaksanaan sesuatu dan lain-lain) sebagaimana yang sewajarnya terdapat pada atau dilakukan oleh seorang profesional.
contoh : seseorang yg menjalankan suatu profesi dengan sikap profesional
- Kualitas jasa : Adalah adanya keyakinan bahwa semua pelayanan yang diberikan pelaku sebuah profesi memenuhi standar kinerja yang tinggi.
contoh : dalam melakukan suatu usaha atau bisnis dapat menghasilkan barang atau jasa yang berkualitas baik
- Kepercayaan : Pemakai jasa harus dapat merasa yakin bahwa terdapat kerangka etika professional yang melandasi pemberian jasa.
contoh : kepercayaan atasan terhadap pegawainya dalam melakukan pekerjaannya.

Contoh Penerapan Etika Dalam Dunia Bisnis diera perdagangan bebas dan Contoh Penerapan Prinsip-Prinsip GCG pada BUMN
1. Contoh penerapan etika dalam bisnis di era perdagangan bebas saat ini:
-bersaing secara sehat
-tidak melakukan cara-cara kotor dalam persaingan bisnis
-dilarang menipu
-membayar gaji para pekerjanya
-mematuhi peraturan yang ada
2. pendapat terhadap pernyataan "Kompetisi adalah konsep, mereka yang berhasil adalah yang mahir menghancurkan musuh-musuhnya"
= menurut saya tidak benar karena pendapat itu sana saja mengartikan bahwa para pelaku bisnis melakukan segala cara untuk mengalahkan pelaku bisnis lainnya.Seharusnya para pelaku bisnis mengalhkan para pelaku bisnis lainnya dengan cara yang benar dan dengan persaingan yang sehat.

-Transparasi

+tidak bverkolusi dan nepotisme dalam melakukan penerimaan pegawai
